Trouble Selling your Home? Stage it!

In today’s competitive real estate market, most homeowners believe they must spend a small fortune on upgrades before selling.

In reality, small improvements can actually yield the biggest dividends when a home is sold. In a survey of U.S. real estate agents, HomeGain.com found that ten simple improvements usually produce the greatest return on investment for home sellers.
Clean and declutter - 578%
Lighten and brighten - 355%
Professional staging - 343%
Landscaped front and backyard - 319%
Repair electrical or plumbing - 164%
Replace or shampoo carpeting - 154%
Paint interior walls - 150%
Paint exterior - 147%
Repair damaged flooring - 145%
Update kitchen or baths - 121%

Still question whether staging a home for sale can really pay off? Nearly one-third of the nation’s real estate pros report that staging adds at least $2,500 to the value of a property, while another 49 percent say it boosts a home’s value by more than $5,000.

To finish off this update we have some new photos from one of our latest homes that we staged.
